There are moments in technology when something shifts. Not because a new buzzword drops, or because a CEO whispers “AI” into a microphone with dramatic pauses, but because the world is finally ready for the thing you always knew was coming.
Today is one of those moments.
We’re officially launching SurrealXP, our next-generation platform for immersive, spatial data visualization built on NVIDIA Omniverse. It’s a system that takes your scattered enterprise data and turns it into something you can actually experience, explore, collaborate on and understand. Think of it as walking into your business and seeing how the whole engine runs, all at once, in real time. But before we get into what SurrealXP is, let’s talk about where it comes from. Because our history matters. It shaped this launch, and frankly, it’s a story worth telling.
A Little Flashback: The Surreal Events Era
SurrealXP didn’t appear out of thin air. It grows out of work we did years ago with Surreal Events, a cloud platform that powered virtual events, immersive brand activations and digital twin experiences. If you never saw it, imagine entering a fully realized 3D space through nothing more than a browser, no downloads needed, complete with real-time collaboration and interactivity.
We helped global brands build virtual worlds where people could meet, talk, explore and play. Conferences happened inside stadiums that didn’t physically exist. Music artists performed in digital venues that responded to the crowd. Sports teams hosted events inside modeled arenas that their fans could walk around from halfway across the planet. It was the metaverse before the metaverse turned into a punchline, and it actually worked.
We built this on Unreal Engine, pixel streaming the entire experience to participants regardless of what device they were on. It was fast, beautiful and surprisingly practical for its time.
Along the way we learned a few things
• Companies loved immersion
• Companies loved interactivity
• Companies absolutely needed collaboration
• And companies really needed help integrating complex back-end systems
Surreal Events brought massive creative energy, but over time we started hearing another message from clients. A quiet one at first. Something like
“If only we could see all our data in a world like this…”
This is the moment when a seed got planted. Something beyond events. Something broader, deeper and way more important.
Why We Built SurrealXP
Here’s the blunt truth. Every organization on earth is drowning in data. You’ve got Power BI dashboards over here, SAP reports over there, Snowflake tables in the sky, Azure services buzzing in the corner and Fabric promising to hold the whole circus together. And what do most people get? A bunch of dashboards sitting next to each other like polite strangers waiting for the bus.
Data isn’t the problem. Data comprehension is. That’s why SurrealXP exists.
We asked ourselves a simple question
What if data felt like a living system instead of a static report
What if decision makers could walk through their supply chain like it was a real environment. What if operational bottlenecks actually lit up. What if insights weren’t buried in a sea of tabular reports. What if teams could stand inside the same view of the business instead of screensharing a dashboard for the 800th time.
And most important of all.
What if all of this was real-time, fully integrated and built with technology that actually scales.
That’s SurrealXP.
So What Exactly Is SurrealXP
SurrealXP is a spatial data intelligence platform built on top of NVIDIA Omniverse. It pulls data from systems you already use and unifies them into a shared 3D environment that updates instantly as your real systems update.
It connects seamlessly with
• Power BI
• Microsoft Fabric
• Snowflake
• SAP
• Azure
If you’re already thinking “Wait, that means I can actually see all my systems working together,” the answer is yes. And you’re welcome.
Inside SurrealXP, data becomes interactive. You can zoom into a production line and see real-time sensor data. You can view financial metrics as a living cityscape where each building’s height corresponds to performance. You can walk into your network topology and spot anomalies glowing like little fireflies. You can stand shoulder to shoulder with colleagues inside a virtual control room and debate strategy over live data instead of static charts.
Basically, SurrealXP takes the cold, flat world of dashboards and upgrades it to something more intuitive, more visual and frankly more human.
From Immersive Events to Immersive Enterprise Intelligence
Surreal Events taught us how people interact in 3D spaces. How they move, collaborate, discover and problem solve. We learned how to build experiences that feel natural and fluid. And we learned how to stream those experiences globally at scale. SurrealXP takes that experience and pushes it into the enterprise world. Instead of concerts and corporate events, we’re now building high fidelity digital twins for factories, financial models, energy grids, logistics networks and entire organizations. This isn’t entertainment anymore, although people still seem to enjoy using it a lot more than spreadsheets.
The magic here is familiarity. We’ve been here before. We know how to build immersive environments. We know how to make them fast and responsive. And with Omniverse, we now have a framework that ties everything together with industrial strength.
If Surreal Events was about bringing people into virtual worlds, SurrealXP is about bringing their data into virtual worlds. And that is a much bigger deal.
What You Can Do With SurrealXP Right Now
Here are a few real examples that illustrate how much this changes the game.
1. Digital Factory Floor
Walk through your production line like you’re on the ground.
See throughput in real time.
Watch machine temperatures rise.
Spot bottlenecks long before they turn into downtime.
Predict issues with live models that update every few seconds.
It’s operations control with superpowers.
2. Financial Data Cityscape
Picture your financial data as a futuristic skyline.
Watch revenue towers rise and fall.
Zoom into departments.
Identify risk clusters glowing on the horizon.
Correlate metrics visually instead of comparing spreadsheets.
If only Wall Street looked this good.
3. Smart Infrastructure and Energy Grids
Monitor power networks or infrastructure systems with real-time flow maps.
Find anomalies instantly.
Simulate outages.
Rewind time 24 hours and see exactly how the system behaved.
This one always gets applause in demos.
4. Cross Functional Decision Rooms
Imagine your entire executive team standing inside a shared 3D view of the business.
Everyone sees the same information, same anomalies, same real-time updates.
Decisions get faster.
Debates get smarter.
And meetings get a lot less painful 😅
Why Now
The world is finally ready for spatial computing that offers real business value.
AI is accelerating data generation.
Cloud platforms are consolidating data pipelines.
NVIDIA is pushing 3D simulation into the mainstream.
And enterprises are tired of dashboards that look pretty but don’t tell a complete story.
SurrealXP lands right at the intersection of all this.
It’s not a science project.
It’s not a metaverse fad.
It’s a practical system built for companies that want clarity fast.
Think of it as a new language for understanding your business.
What Comes Next?
SurrealXP is entering Beta with our early enterprise partners. This phase will help refine integrations, expand visualization templates and build advanced collaboration features. After that we move to General Availability, followed by Seed partnerships and wider deployment.
We’re just getting started. And we’re building it with companies that want to shape the future of data intelligence, not wait for it.
If you’d like to explore SurrealXP, get a private demo or become part of our Beta cohort, reach out. We love showing this thing in action. It tends to sell itself once you see it live.
SurrealXP is the evolution we’ve been building toward for years, and we’re thrilled to finally open the doors. Your data deserves better than dashboards. It deserves a world where everything connects. And now it has one.
Let’s build something amazing together 🚀
